![]() ![]() All are introducing products at a breakneck pace. In addition to ON1, I work with Macphun/Skylum and Topaz.Just continue using using the previous one. For example, if you’re upset ON1 (or Macphun for that matter) came out with 2018 soon after a previous release and don’t want to buy an upgrade, then don’t. Those that are critical, I get it and that’s fine, but please try to be constructive and keep all this in perspective. You’ve got a range from free for Topaz Studio to $300 for C1 Pro and the sky’s-the-limit subscription plans from Adobe. Just spend some time on each one, with their free trials, to see what works best for you and your budget. If you’ve exhausted all avenues to resolve your difficulties and still don’t like ON1, the great part is you have many other choices of varying prices and capabilities to suit your workflow. Those of you with negative experiences, I’m sorry to hear it. That said, my own experience and several others posting here have been positive.Just as I present in my reviews, I believe people should know both pros and cons as no product or company is perfect or can please everyone.Of course I’ve gotten some utility out of these along the way but they weren't always worth the money.īUT you can see why I think, for me at least, that $94 for ON1 is more bang for the buck (this price is using discount codes, such as those on my website, which are readily available and upgrades are less.) So I’ve spent about $5200 on PS/CC and close to an additional $1000 on Lightroom, not including the approximately $600 on my Adobe subscription so far. Over time I’ve bought all 6 perpetual licenses of Lightroom and all 13 of Phshop including 2 iterations of the creative suite. ![]() Here's a little perspective- Adobe has $6800 of my money. Here’s my take on all this (based on having been a regular customer of ON1, Macphun, Topaz, Adobe, etc. ![]() I want to address those of you that have stated problems or discontent with ON1. ![]()
